Often what we do in the medical profession comes at the result of tragedy. Perhaps an accident or act of carelessness causes an injury – those things are understandable because accidents do happen. We do our best to prevent such things.
Unfortunately, what happened in Orlando over the weekend is much harder to understand or come to terms with.
Our hearts go out to those whose lives have been impacted by this violent tragedy. We wish the survivors peace and comfort as they go through the long road to healing physically and emotionally. We send thoughts of kindness and caring to the families and friends of those injured or killed. We ask everyone to do their best to spread peace and kindness throughout the world.
