Every mattress model we make is a bit different, and has different features for different patients needs. To help you understand the difference between these products, we have developed a comprehensive guide to all of our long-term care mattresses. All features are rated on a scale of 1 – 10.

Temperature – illustrates the foam’s ability to draw heat away from the body, or to hold the body’s heat close to the source. The higher the gauge reads, the cooler your body will remain throughout the night.
Firmness – This gauge is a direct reading of how firm or soft the mattress is. The higher the reading the firmer the mattress.
Pressure Redistribution – This gauge illustrates how much of the patient’s total body weight is redistributed through the foam, thus alleviating pressure points. The higher the reading on this gauge indicates that the weight placed on this foam is spread out over a larger area, thus decreasing the overall pressure felt by the body.
Push Back – This gauge illustrates how much of the patient’s total body weight is redistributed through the foam, thus alleviating pressure points. The higher the reading on this gauge indicates that the weight placed on this foam is spread out over a larger area, thus decreasing the overall pressure felt by the body.
Resiliency – Resiliency is a measure of the liveliness qualities of the foam. The higher the foam’s resiliency, the quicker it will return to its original state. Resiliency is also a measure of how much motion the foam will absorb. The higher the resiliency, the less motion will be absorbed by the foam. The higher the reading on this gauge, the more resilient the foam.
Non-Allergenic / Microbial – Based on the technology and ingredients used to manufacture different foams and fabrics, each product maintains a different level of non-allergenic and microbial properties.
